If we can inspire others to tell their stories, then we are doing our job

Bell Productions Films is a Production Company created by first generation Peruvian immigrant Ana Isabel Cuadra.

Ana arrived New York City in early January at the age of 23 with aspirations to learn and grow in film production. Previously a Marine Biology student, Ana made the turning-point decision to complete a BA in Film and Television and continued on to professional work in the industry.

As an assistant, she worked on set for films and TV shows including “The Bourne Ultimatum”, “Burn After Reading, “Oblivion”, “Law & Order”, “Third Watch”, among others.

Ana has since been on the sets of major motion pictures with directors Alfonso Cuaron, Spike Lee, Woody Allen, Joel Schummacher and Steven Spielberg. She has also worked with producers Robert Greenhut and Brooke Kennedy, among other industry leaders.

Currently she can be found writing and directing, as well as location managing for movies and TV shows. She is one of the few Latino Female Location Managers under the Directors Guild of America in the whole country.

Ana Cuadra is the writer of several screenplays, essays and short stories in both English and Spanish. “The Parking Spot” being published in The New York Times.  She has always been a believer of keeping up with trends in story telling and continues her education in screenplay writing at NYU.
